This summer, I had the privilege of learning from the amazing photographer, Meg Bitton. There was so much to learn — her approach, her process, her style, her interaction with kids, her editing, her equipment — all of it! What was most interesting to me, however, was the intersection of her amazing imagery and the product, the art, that I want to create. What did I learn from her to make what I do better? Never will I be Meg Bitton — she’s already taken! But how can I use some of what she does to enhance what I do?
People frequently ask me about finding their style, finding what works for them and their art. And I tell them to do exactly what I just did — learn from the best and take the elements that work for you and integrate those into your imagery. That’s how you’ll get to be the best you.
As always, we at Pollack Photography are focused on you.
